the Program

Core Modules

The program includes 8 core modules and up to 4 elective modules that are delivered and completed over a 12-month period.

 

The modules are based on a framework to deliver technical, physical, social and psychological skills. 

 

We allocate one full day to complete each core module.

Education and training in areas identified as gaps by the participants.

The Centre for Women’s Sport Program supports and empowers female athletes, coaches, officials, administrators, board members, volunteers and support members to play, lead and contribute to sport for future generations.

Funding model

$500 (+GST) required from your chosen sport/association/local council

$350 (+GST) required from the participant

Total $850 (+GST)

Roles in sport

Women from all areas of sport are encouraged to apply, these may include – 

  • Athletes
  • Coaches
  • Officials
  • Administrators
  • Board members
  • Support members
  • Volunteers

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must submit written confirmation of financial support and demonstrate that they are currently working or volunteering in one of the following areas related to sport:

  • State sporting organisation
  • Local government authority
  • Sports association, club, or league
 

Eligible applicants must:

 

  • Identify as a woman or have been assigned female at birth
  • Aged 18+
  • Be a South Australian resident
