Tiffany led her Greenacres team to the Open Women’s Premiership in 2009 – and was voted best on ground
‘A slightly built high-flyer who is one of the few players in the women’s competition who can get high enough for a screamer’.
This high praise came from a media report leading into the SA-Victoria Women’s State Football Match in 1994.
Tiffany Lee had played in the League since its inaugural year in 1991 and took the competition by storm from the beginning.
After her first year, starring for Hectorville, she was voted the League’s best and fairest player (Dutschke Medal) in 1992, 93, 94 and 95.
Having switched clubs to North Adelaide, she dominated the voting again in 2000 and 2003.
Demonstrating she was the complete player, Tiffany Lee’s high flying, marking skills were coupled with a dominance around goals as well, winning the Glazbrook Medal for the league’s leading goal kicker five times.
She is also a Life Member of the League and has represented the State in multiple National Championships.
For all her awards and achievements, perhaps one stands above all else; the day she led her Greenacres team to the Open Women’s Premiership in 2009 – and was voted best on ground.
That is surely a very satisfying feeling, especially when two years earlier, she had been voted best on ground in a losing grand final.
Tiffany played her 300th Game on 23 August 2015 representing Adelaide University Football Club. She was the second SA player to reach this remarkable milestone.
